J' ai la même opinion que vous ! J' aimerais bien revoir ( en français) le feuilleton qui passait en France : IVANHOE .

As James Bond, he was a wonderful Simon Templar.

when did you meet him?
Posted Feb 16 2009 4:29PM by shamudreamer
My wife and I were in London when we found ourselves outside the Odeon , Leicester Square and almost literally bumped into him. I apologised and he replied " No harm done". He recognised my Welsh accent and said. " That's a broad Welsh accent". "What part of Wales do you come from?" He was so friendly, there was nothing aloof or stand-offish about him, a really nice man. That brief encounter with Roger Moore was in 1977 and I've been a great fan of his ever since.

1977 was when The Spy Who Loved Me came out wasn't it?

I am not an expert on the James Bond films, but yes The Spy Who Loved Me was released in 1977. Whilst I am a big fan of Roger Moore's I particularly enjoy all his television work. I loved The Saint, Ivanhoe and of course, Maverick. I also like some of the films he's appeared in such as The Wild Geese, North Sea Hijack and Shout At The Devil. How did you come to be such a big fan of Roger Moore's?
Posted Feb 18 2009 9:08PM by francilius
I'm not sure really, I just watched an episode of The Saint one day and have been a huge fan of his ever since!

That is awesome! How or where did you meet him? I met him in Oslo a bit over a year ago, signing books. A magichal moment for an old 007 and Roger Moore fan. He thought I had cold hands, hehehe :)
